About the Position

The successful candidate will operate plastic mixing and extrusion equipment, prepare production materials, monitor product quality, and ensure manufacturing processes meet production and quality standards. This position also supports environmentally responsible manufacturing practices as part of Canada's green economy initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor adjustments.
• Weigh resins, colorants, and chemicals according to production formulas.
• Monitor and inspect product quality during manufacturing.
• Load raw materials into mixing machines.
• Operate plastic mixing equipment to achieve the required consistency.
• Unload finished mixtures for additional processing.
• Package finished products for shipping and distribution.
• Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines.
• Replace extrusion dies when production requirements change.
• Prepare resin batches following production formulations.
• Maintain inventory of production materials.

Requirements
