Requirements

• Language: English.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience of 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Valid driver's licence.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Load and unload cargo safely.
• Inspect the vehicle before, during and after each trip.
• Monitor the condition of tires, lights, brakes, refrigeration systems and other equipment.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo details, driving hours, travelled distance and fuel consumption.
• Handle payments for transported goods when required.
• Secure cargo using tarps and appropriate safety procedures.

Work Conditions

• On-site position with no remote work option.

• Willingness to travel across Canada and cross-border.
• Availability for overnight trips.
