About the Position

The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs, balancing daily financial records, and providing excellent customer service during evening and overnight shifts while ensuring hotel operations run smoothly.

Main Responsibilities

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • Process individual and group arrivals and departures.
  • Take, modify and cancel room reservations.
  • Provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Process guest departures, calculate charges and receive payments.
  • Balance cash, prepare balance sheets and financial reports.
  • Maintain room availability and reservation records.
  • Follow hotel emergency and safety procedures.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
  • Assist guests with special requests and wake-up calls.
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.

Requirements

  • Language: English.
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Previous experience is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
