Experience

A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of related work experience is required.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position. All duties must be carried out at the employer's physical location. Remote work is not available.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairways.
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove dirt, debris and waste.
• Empty garbage bins and waste containers.
• Carry out minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and report major repairs to qualified tradespersons.
• Perform minor appliance repairs.
• Conduct safety and security inspections.
• Supervise other workers when required.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and maintenance supplies.
• Complete routine maintenance tasks including painting and drywall repairs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
